Meet ... Shayna Atkins

Shayna is an Operations Management Consultant and social business founder with Agile and Lean process experience. Shayna is an avid supporter of women and business from idea through expansion stages. She has done strategy implementation work with clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to start-ups and community-based organizations.

She started her work in entrepreneurship with the Jamaica Diaspora Institute at Boys’ Town Community Centre in Trench Town, Kingston, Jamaica. After returning to the US, Shayna founded women’s community, Queens was started as a bi-monthly event series to bring together women from different backgrounds to mastermind, motivate, and support local business. Queens Brunch has since grown into a cross-functional community for business women of color to exchange influencer approved resources from anywhere in the world. Queens is comprised of a network of influencers from across the United States who share their stories with women building brands and seeking answers. Shayna truly believes women thrive in tribes.

Shayna Atkins was recently awarded as a Young Challenger for 7th Annual Global Social Business Summit in Berlin, Germany and has partnered with organizations such as Tech Month Chicago, Blue1647, and Chicago Ideas week to bring programming relevant to the business woman of color.
